CNFans help: who to ask, a glossary and short answers

Help goes faster when it goes to whoever has the final say. Below: a routing guide for common problems, a glossary of words you will meet, Chinese terms seen on listings, and frequently asked questions answered briefly.

Routing a problem to the party that can fix it

Before you pay, questions about size, spec or price belong to the seller's listing, and the agent can pass a message to the seller. Once the item is at the warehouse, a wrong item or a defect is a matter for CNFans support. For as long as the maintenance notice stays up, the one contact route we can point to is the support address printed on that notice, listed on our CNFans page.

For a stuck or missing parcel, check the carrier’s event details and contact the agent that arranged the shipping service. The party entitled to lodge a formal claim depends on the selected service. For import-charge questions, check the relevant authority or collecting carrier. This site cannot open a claim or access your order.

Glossary of words on listings and agent pages

Words you will meet on listings, agent pages and carrier sites, in plain terms. Where a word belongs to one of the six sources, the definition says which.

Agent
A company that places orders with Chinese sellers for you, then sends the goods abroad. CNFans is one.
Listing
The seller's own page for an item on a Chinese marketplace. It decides price, specs and size chart.
Catalog card
A summary of a listing in a product catalog: photo, price range, link. Useful for finding, not deciding.
Spec
One exact version of an item, usually a color and size pair, each with its own price.
Size chart
The seller’s measurements for each size, often an image among the detail photos.
Domestic shipping
The seller-to-warehouse leg inside China, set by the seller.
Warehouse
The agent's storage site in China where your items arrive and are photographed.
QC photos
Quality check photos taken at the warehouse when an item arrives.
Consolidation
Packing items from several sellers into one parcel before it ships.
Line
A shipping route sold by the agent, with its own price, speed and list of accepted items.
Volumetric weight
A weight worked out from parcel size; lines charge on it when it exceeds scale weight.
Tracking number
The reference the carrier uses; its own tracking page is the record of delivery.
Duty and tax
Charges your country may set on goods from abroad, decided by its customs authority.
Handling charge
A fee some carriers add for collecting duty or tax; set by the carrier.
Pre-order
An item the seller makes or restocks after you pay, so it ships later.
Referral tag
A marker on a link that tells the destination where a visitor came from.

Chinese words that turn up on listings

Final say here: the seller's listing

Machine translation handles most of a listing, but a few short words are worth recognizing on sight because they change what you are buying. 尺码 means size and 尺码表 size chart. 颜色分类 heads the color options in many spec menus. 现货 means in stock, ready to ship; 预售 means pre-order, so expect to wait.

包邮 means the seller's domestic shipping is included, which covers the trip to the agent's warehouse and nothing beyond. Measurements are almost always in centimeters, written as cm or 厘米.

Nine short answers

Short answers to frequently asked questions, the ones that come up most. Each links back to a fuller page elsewhere on the site.

Is this the CNFans website?

No. This is an independent catalog. CNFans runs cnfans.com; we only link to it and to catalog listings.

Can I place an order on this site?

No. Orders go through CNFans itself, and on 20 October 2026 its site carried only a maintenance notice, so none can start there yet.

Why do some cards show two prices?

The listing has specs at different prices, and the card shows the lowest and highest. The seller's spec menu has your exact price.

Who decides what shipping costs?

CNFans, through the quote it gives after weighing and measuring your packed parcel. The line you choose changes the price.

Will I have to pay import duty?

That is decided by your country's customs and tax authorities. Read their guidance for goods bought from abroad; we give no thresholds.

Can you tell me whether a seller is reliable?

No. We do not rate sellers. The choosing page lists what you can read from a listing yourself.

Does this site earn money from its links?

It may. Catalog links and the CNFans button carry referral tags. CNFans does not pay for what we write.

How do I report a broken link or a mistake?

No verified editorial inbox is currently published. Use the dated change log for site revisions; order problems belong with CNFans support.

Do you link to items that copy a brand logo?

We do not set out to. If a catalog card we link turns out to copy another company’s trademark, tell us and we will drop the link.
